Review by Ryan Burnaugh

The Black Crowes' second album, Twice As Hard, is a bluesy, soulful rock masterpiece that showcases the band's raw talent and musical prowess. Released in 1990, the album features hits like "Jealous Again" and "Hard to Handle," which became instant classics and helped establish the band as one of the most exciting acts of the decade.

The album's sound is heavily influenced by classic rock and blues, with catchy riffs, powerful vocals, and tight rhythms that keep the listener hooked from start to finish. The band's use of slide guitar and harmonica adds a layer of depth and authenticity to the music, giving it a timeless quality that still resonates with listeners today.

It was twice as hard every time they tried to make a new album. This was the only album I liked listening to from start to finish - southern harmony was good but too many changes in their lineup and direction made this their only really good album.
