Review by Emily Gee

Nine Thoughts For One Word by Chat Noir is a mesmerizing album that takes the listener on a journey through a sonic landscape of jazz, electronica, and ambient music. The trio, composed of pianist Michele Cavallari, bassist Luca Fogagnolo, and drummer Giuliano Ferrari, has created a collection of nine tracks that showcase their musical prowess and creativity.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful "Avant Buddha," which sets the tone for the rest of the record with its ethereal piano melodies and atmospheric soundscapes. "Chelsea High Line" follows with its pulsating bassline and driving rhythm, while "Bhajan" features a more meditative and introspective vibe.

Other standout tracks include "Radio Show" with its jazzy piano riffs and intricate drumming, and "Detuning Leaves" which features a hauntingly beautiful piano melody that is both melancholic and uplifting at the same time.
