The album opens with "What'd I Say," a classic bluesy number that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Clayton-Thomas' soulful voice is a perfect fit for the song and he delivers it with ease. The album also includes covers of "Walkin' the Dog," "Wooly Bully," and "Money (That's What I Want)," all of which are given a fresh spin by Clayton-Thomas and his band.

One standout track on the album is "Gloria," a song made famous by Them featuring Van Morrison. Clayton-Thomas' version is a bit slower and more soulful than the original, but it still manages to capture the essence of the song. Another highlight is "Louie Louie," which is given a funky, bluesy makeover.
