Review by Mandy de Waal

Embracing The Inevitable, the latest album by John Kerr, is a masterpiece of contemporary folk music. With its haunting melodies, poignant lyrics, and soulful vocals, this album is a testament to Kerr's talent as a songwriter and musician.

From the opening track, "The Long Road Home," to the closing ballad, "Farewell My Love," each song on Embracing The Inevitable is a journey through the human experience. Kerr's lyrics are vivid and evocative, painting vivid pictures of love, loss, and the struggles of everyday life.

Musically, Embracing The Inevitable is a triumph. Kerr's guitar work is masterful, and he is joined by a talented group of musicians who add depth and texture to each track. The album's production is also top-notch, with a warm, organic sound that perfectly complements Kerr's songs.
